Expansion of the Linea Snella Centres and Penetration into New Markets

 

Due to increasing demand both from customers as well as potential business partners Linea Snella Co. decided at the beginning of 2007 within the company’s business strategy not only for organic growth within the company alone, but also for strong expansion of the Linea Snella centres. As a goal we have set ourselves a wider recognition of the Linea Snella® brand, concentrating on Central and Eastern Europe in a medium-term period, and on the broader market of Europe and the world in a long-term period.

 

The analysis of the situation on the global markets clearly shows that for the expansion of centres in the field of slimming, body toning, beauty, wellness and fitness the most frequently used and the most appropriate method is the expansion through franchise systems. Linea Snella Co. has thus also decided in favour of this business model expansion form.

 

Within the national market (i.e. the Slovenian market), which is covered by the holding company, we have been expanding by granting franchise licenses for certified franchise centres. We penetrate new markets in the same way but through the holding company granting a master franchise license to a selected partner, thus giving him the right and liability to cover the entire market with certified franchise centres.

For this reason we cover within the entry fee a certain amount of the expense for equipment when purchasing the license, and we additionally reduce the cost of the entry fee on the basis of subsequent regular payment of royalties depending on the extent of the operation.
