Obligations of Franchisee

What Does the Franchisee - Franchise License Owner - Have to Provide

To ensure the efficient and successful operation of the franchise business system in the long-term, the fulfilment of franchisee's obligations is of key importance. So is a good system, both before the opening date as well as throughout the course of the entire business operation of the centre.

To purchase the franchise license, the franchisee must make provision for:

1. Business premises

The franchisee must provide suitable business premises (his own or rented) which must meet the requirements of the parent company. All expenditures related to the business premises are at the franchisee’s expense.

2. Initial capital

The franchisee must provide sufficient initial capital, needed for rental or purchase of business space, equipment and franchise fee (that is purchase of franchise licence). Also, for a pre-determined initial period of operation it is advisory to have ensured working capital.

3. The use of name, brand, creative and communication strategy

When using the name and the Linea Snella® brand, the franchisee must follow all requirements of the parent company in order that the brand is communicated correctly, uniformly and consistently on all markets, which is essential to ensure its recognition (signage and all permanent graphic images, as  determined in the Manual for the use of the visual image, colour, slogans, creative guidelines, creative solutions of printed and electronic ads, overall presentation of brochures and leaflets, etc).

4. Protection of know-how
The franchisee must carefully safeguard and protect the entire Linea Snella know-how. All internal documents, development strategy and especially the operational manuals which contain a detailed definition of the entire Linea Snella® method and know-how are considered strictly “Privileged information”. This provision applies for the entire time of the contract’s duration as well as after its termination.

5. Quality of services performed
The franchisee must provide for the performance of services strictly in line with all quality standards, which are directed and presented at the initial introduction. Franchisees must follow all work procedures described in the operational manuals for therapists and centre managers, and is not allowed to change organizational systems without the permission of the parent company.

6. Professionalism

Prior to the beginning of operation, all therapists and the manager must undertake the initial introductory training; and also regularly participate in seminars with the purpose of ensuring the professionalism of all employees.

7. Supervision

The franchise unit must enable the parent company to regularly monitor the fulfilment of the specified quality standards and business operation. The parent company’s professional staff performs this monitoring.

8. Financial liabilities

Besides the entry fee, the franchise unit must pay also a periodical royalty (monthly) which is the contribution for management services (franchisee’s contribution for support and help provided by the franchisor, for the right to use the brand and know-how) and a contribution for the purpose of advertising both at the local as well as the national level.

9. Liabilities in the marketing field

While the holding company is responsible for the marketing activities to support the brand sales or the Linea Snella® method’s promotion at the overall level for the entire franchise network, the franchisee is responsible for the marketing activities at the local level to support his own centre (which is of course adapted as required by demand). All activities are coordinated with the franchisor (both regarding the selection of the media as well as the creative approach).

10. Consumer material is purchased from the parent company

The franchisee makes all purchases of consumer material, products and additional equipment for the performance of the activity and services under this contract through the franchisor or through contractual partners which he chooses subject to the consent by the franchisor.

  • Franchisee must be devoted, serious, truthful and frank.
  • Franchisee must be able to work in a team and manage small groups of co-workers.
